LISTENING SKILLS: ROUTINE CONVERSATION (Vocabulary, intonation and comprehension)
Level: Grade 2
Objective: To help the pupils be attentive during listening exercises, learn
new vocabulary, comprehend the conversation and become familiar with the intonation.

For practice, the pupils guided by the teacher will play different games from the above link that will be applied to their level so as to learn to listen, capture and comprehend direct and indirect conversations. Also, they’ll learn to distinguish words of the same class, etc.
Exercise
4: Use of Voki
The pupils will record themselves on concrete themes seen in class previously and share their knowledge with their companions. This will help them not only in listening skills but also in speaking and reading which will make their leaning more dynamic, effective and interesting.
Exercise 5: Skype. Once a
week, the teacher will connect with the pupils by use of the software skype
whereby she will be able to converse with the pupils so as to improve their
listening skills process. He or she will always involve the topics seen in classroom
previously so as to put the content into practice to ensure that the students
are progressing in their learning and especially in their capacities in
listening and comprehending.
