COMMUNICATION SKILLS: MY DAILY ROUTINE (Grammar and vocabulary)

Level: The exercise is designated to grade 2 pupils who still have difficulties in constructing sentences but are curious in learning new things every day. 

Objective: The main objective is for the students to practice their speaking skills in classroom.

Exercise 1: The class will be divided into small groups of 5 pupils each. Then they will be allowed to visualize the first image while reflecting about their daily routine and then share in group.

Exercise 2: Later the whole class-group will sit in a U form and they will visualize the second image which is edited according to the action represented by the image.

Exercise 3: Finally, we shall have a speaking exercise expressing their daily routines using the correct vocabulary. The teacher will make sure that all the pupils participate in this activity. 

This will help the pupils to practice their speaking skills, improve their self-esteem towards English as a second language thus overcoming fear in speaking in public and the teacher will be able to know the difficulties the pupils have in the construction of short sentences so as to help them in simple grammar.
